This is a 3-part video series produced by Snowlocals for Rusutsu Resort.
This series was very different from any sort of video work done for Rusutsu or really any Japanese ski resort. There were many challenges in making the series, but perhaps the hardest personally was trying to convince the client that there is more value in quality than quantity. In many aspects of video in Japan, they see value in quantity of content vs the quality of it. This made it difficult to make the pieces shorter than they are...but I think they came out well.
I shot and edited the series.
Camera- FS7 (All internal recording in XAVC-I)
Lenses- Zeiss Otus 55/1.4, Zeiss 15/2.8, Nikkor 24/2.8, Nikkor 80-200/4.5 and possibly a couple shots with the Tokina 11-16/2.8.
