I had an enjoyable time. I will try to post some pictures soon. The presentation by Arnold Ramirez was very good. I was very impressed with his system. We had several seasoned pro's as well as some newcomers to the film industry. It was great to be with such an enthusiastic group of filmmakers! This camera is changing the landscape of independent filmmaking. We plan to have the next meeting at a local theater. I will get the details about the February meeting out as soon as I can. If you would like to help organize the meetings please let me know.

Re: January Meeting Recap

Craig,

Thanks for organizing these meeting! I think this is a good way to get to know others to share experiences. The Digital Filmmakers Consortium is a great idea and I hope to be a part of it. It would be a good tool to help people get together and help each other. I think the biggest challenge for the Consortium is to get a group that does not work and think as individuals and have an entrepreneurial spirit. If a group of us would really band together and make this happen…it would be explosive!!!! A group of filmmakers that really wanted to work, and share ideas, equipment and experience would something phenomenal and a rarity. Kind Regards, Jared.
