Re: January Contest..
You couldn't wait while I posted the announcements.
I'm proud to announce the winner of the poll for the favorite January DVXfest short is disjecta. A Box of 10 Panasonic AY-DVM63MQ Master Quality DV Tapes will be winging it's way via duckmail to disjecta's lakeside retreat courtesy of Jan Crittenden and Panasonic USA, one of our January DVXfest sponsors.

Disjecta politely turned down the choice of The DVX Book and DVD--How To Get the Most From The Revolutionary DVX100 and DVX100a Cameras by Barry Green, Jan Crittenden, and Harry Foulds. But only because he *already* owns a copy. Think about it.

Huge props to all the filmmakers that participated in the January DVXfest--your films were enjoyed immensely and demonstrate that DVXusers can "walk the walk". Thanks for everyone who participated in the Film Discussion, the filmmakers appreciate and deserve some feedback on their work. I'm looking forward to seeing the entries for the February DVXfest: Love and a Box of Heart-Shaped Chocolates Edition.

disjecta - I'm happy to know that it was my vote that put you over the top. 1 vote truly does matter. Now I'm VERY curious who voted for me. SHOW YOURSELVES!!!! I have 4 new best friends and I want to meet them.
Congratulations disjecta. It was a great narrative and can't wait to see more from you.

Thank you all. It's great to see so many people voting, no matter who won. The DVXFest seems to be becoming more popular with each passing month.
Barry, sorry for the preemptive strike, I wasn't sure what the protocol was and I was just so damned excited
