Jammin' (Letus35 FE)

Love the fisheye look... not too much, not too little. Mario bros? really??

You guys just need a big ass, six man hookah chillin' on the coffee table, and you're all set ;)

p.s. You just love to see yourself on camera, don't you? You and your "cool" friends:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

snodart - Sorry the video didn't work for you... I'm not sure what the problem is... Maybe you can download it and remove the ' at the end... maybe that'll do the trick.

rcbrown23 - of course i love to see myself on camera, I'm a strait up narcissist :)
Look a little closer, We DO have the hookah... Goes together great with the old skool NES and the projector.

Yes sir, i like.Funny how things as simple as this give an instant feeling of true atmosphere.Soundgarden riffs sounded nice also.Just the onboard mic?

I am a noobie to this whole Letus 35 thing but it sure looks good + filmic to me.

We have projector for Snes and Street Fighter2.My flat m8 doesnt like it when I own him though...Nice shots dude.

Hilarious... I knew it had to be in there somewhere. I'm all too familiar with places a lot like that one ;)

Myfriend... I think your video was, indeed one ofthe best that i saw in this forum.....
now you'll think that I'm crazy or beign sarcastic... but no beside of the lenses ( that look is great ,true, and is awsome to use sometimes, but we seen it a lot in this part of the forum and everybody with a dvx wants it)
But the " perfomance" was natural and it flow great , it was funny and simply, just LIFE

keep that raw material element and you'll go far
the last part from the guy with the nintendo is the best

Cory, man, I'm jealous bro. Not only did I dig look of the video, but apparently, you much cooler than I am.

Thanks for posting this, Just this afternoon I was about to purchase a NIkon 28 2.8 and a Nikon 50 1.4 to go with my adapter, now I know what It can produce...

Let me ask you , does the flipped version of the adapter loose that much light, in other words, is the "unflipped" model better in low light situations? Also, did you have any light at all for this clip?

peace

Heh nice one. Really looked atmospheric, had something to do with your place and the people. Loved the NES. With correct lighting shots would look amazing. Good choice on lenses too. Im with you on the Canons.

Cory, awesome, you`ve done it again, with the jenny music video and now with this one, quality wise - very filmic and the grain, i don`t know about others, but i just love, it gives the filmic look (defenitely 16mm kinda looking vid).
Oh, by the way, how do you make that red&yellow film flash effect, i mean i know how to make a simple one, but yours look more pro! :) wanna know :P
Thanks, keep it up :)

and yes, another question, since you were testing lenses...first shot were the most filmic looking like, so what lense was it? :P
thanks ;)

noonansboy - yep, that was just the onboard mic picking up the acoustic guitar.

Martini Yernazty - thanks for the compliments

Stephen Bruno - Glad you like the look, The flipped version does lose more light than the non-flip version. It loses 1.5 stops. The advantages though are that it obviously has the flipped feature which I just love, it has a larger GG and better GG mechanism, and it also has a swappable metal mount that has Canon FD and Nikon AI mounts.
There was no lighting for this little clip, the only thing I did to brighten the scene was to open the front door which was behind the camera. I also added color correction which made the scene darker but more filmic.

Cipa - Thanks! I used the canon 50mm 1.4 for the first shot. A great lens. Check for a PM about the film ramp flicker transition effect.

Hi Cory, how did u do that flicker on your music vid? looks really cool. Thanks.

hi Cory you are GOOOOOOD.. have seen most of the stuff you have posted here, amazed at how you frame, edit etc.. what filters did u use to get that filmic look, e.g. color correction? gamma? brightness?

borgkingkong - The color correction i used was a simple Magic Bullet Preset. "Look Suite 2" Thanks and I'm glad you like the stuff...
