As a filmmaker, I pride myself on creating serious work focusing on character, introspection and important personal expression.

Just kidding. Here's an incredibly silly comedy about history, a cappella, bad words and the American spirit.

"James K. Polk Was @#?!ing Awesome"
An astonishingly profane tribute to our nation's greatest President.

It's been a hit at film festivals nationwide, including the Oscar-qualifying St. Louis International Film Festival. It snagged an award at the Chicago REEL Shorts Festival and a nomination for its leading lady at the Houston Comedy Film Festival. And it's still continuing to tour.

But it was made to amuse the Internet above all, so if you like it, pass it on.

Dug it! I hearted it! Hit my trailer up if you get a chance as well.

Going to check out the Star Wars ish too.

I liked this, it was funny, i would have liked to see some picture, or footage of stuff other than the girl (even though she was cute), but at LEAST you included some nice camera movement so it didnt get to boring.

Fun and informative, well done.

What was your lighting and sound setup?
