jaggies: ok on computer, jaggie on tv

I just finished a series of interviews using the DVX. I shot at 30p, edited in Premier, then AE, rendered and on the computer everything looks great. The vertical lines are nice and smooth.

I then burned this to DVD (using iDVD). When I watch this on my TV I see the jaggies on the vertical lines on the right side of the subject's face, the chair, etc. I'd post clips but it wouldn't help b/c everything looks fine on the computer.

Did I screw up by not shooting to 60i? Is this an interlacing problem. Can someone give me a link to a primer for the DVX and jaggies?

The footage will be viewed on TV as well as on computer. I thought i was doing the right thing by shooting to 30p. UGH!

Is there something I can do in AE to reduce this

Most time when you edit it will use uncompress AVI file.
When you transfer to DVD format it will compress to MPEG2 format with default bit rate. Try to increase bit rate to max (9.8). Also some MPEG Encoders may using simple compression algoritm, try encode in different application.
Also even your dvd may be encoded as progressive, be sure your dvd player and TV support progressive output/input.
