Jagged edges from footage - help

Is she green screened? It appears to be a green screenshot that was poorly chroma keyed. It could also be the result of poor lighting on a green screan. If she was shot on a while back ground i don't know what to tell you, but it looks like the tips of her hair are green and thus a green screen issue.

Yes it was keyed off of green but I never have these rolling jagged edges? Not sure what is going on with my footage.

Was it key'd live or in post? It is a keying problem. Either your green was not lit well enough or your key settings were off. Was it HD? HD is harder to key because of the added range. The key is having trouble finding where she begins and the green ends.

I don't know what that is, its def the original footage and not post. What format do you shoot in? Is this on tape or p2? We you using manual shutter, iris, or focus? It looks like there is tons of noise for some reason. If you look in the green back ground you see movement.

If you are getting jagged edges try Primatte RT to key. It works in FCP and motion. Another filter you can use to remove jagged edges is Matte Magic and Matte Choker
