We just purchased this follow focus about 4 weeks ago - we used it for one big crane shot (and a few other shots that weekend) and now we are selling it.
It was always our intention to sell it after the film, but because we really liked it, we actually debated keeping it around. In the end we decided to sell only because we dont see needing it for the foreseeable future.
This is their V2 - MUCH better than V1. It's not as good as a 10,000 Preston, but a great value at 1/10 the price.
It's a really nice unit and we were able to get the crane shot we needed because of it! I'm sure it would also be helpful on several other types of shots.
It was 1299 + shipping + batteries (LP-EP knockoffs - the good ones) Total investment was about $1400.
I'd like to get 1085 out of it and I'll pay shipping / paypal fees and include the batteries.
Comes with everything JAG included in the 1299 package. Plus I'll include the LP-EP batteries. This is the new version with the VERY nice Lemo connections.
