Jag35 Shoulder Mount

Hey everyone,

I'm about to get a DSLR and so I've been thinking alot about accessories and kit to go with it.

I know theres a ton of talk about support rigs and I know I need one.

Unfortunately, don't really have the money to go Zacuto, so I was pretty excited to see Jag35 announce their shoulder rig: http://jag35.com/new/products/shoulder-rig/

What do you guys think? It seems like the perfect combination of things for the price.

My biggest concern is that the shoulder pad seems like it wouldn't rest too well since its not curved, but otherwise its all there.

I think I'm going to have to pre order...

I would recommend you also check out the CPM FilmTools www.cpmfilmtools.com gear, I have one of their cage rigs which I matched with some existing gear I had from RedRock and it is quite a piece of gear and reasonably priced.

Take a look at the DVrigPro Extreme, from DVTEC. That's what I'm hoping to get soon.

One thing I really like about the jag35 cage is that it's height adjustable. If you get a vertical grip or want to shoot with a big-body camera, you don't have to buy a separate cage--just extensions for the current one. That's one reason why companies like CPMFilmtools have multiple cage sizes, but their stuff looks good too. I think most of the cpm ones have the top handle included
