Hey all,
I've just finished the latest film I've been working on, entitled "Jacky Style." It is a short movie for a film contest at my college. I'd love to hear some comments/critiques on it from all the people here at DVXuser.
The plot tells of a man, Jacky Style, who is a news fabricator (you'll find out more). When a lovely competing journalist gets kidnapped for faking a story concerning a local mob boss, Jacky feels compelled to rescue her, embarking on an adventure that might be considered "too good to be true."
Overall, my filmmaking friends and I had a great time doing this, and it took just over 14 days to complete, writing to encoding. The content in the film may be interesting to some, but most of the conventions stem from what we wanted in a movie - the script simply bound these thing together. Hopefully you'll find it as amusing as the audiences did during the initial showings, but I would love to have some critiques as well as methods to correct them if any of you feel so moved.
The video is uploaded on vimeo in HD (man this looks better than youtube!) here's the link:

Don't hold back, I need to learn!
