two hours chained and naked. i've got to see this :)
that's quite allot of money. i've spent the last two years saving up that much.
i need to get a job
 
well there ya go, I have no savings.

Also helps to have a significant other so you can coast on one salary for two weeks, and I worked extra much doing freelance stuff up until the shoot. So I made my nut for this month last month, but it cost twice what we thought and took 3 times as long. * *

Also, I was in theatre 10 years before this so my whole life is pretty much geared towards keeping my living expenses very low so I can work sporadically and make films or direct theatre or finish screenplays the rest of the time.



* * actors had one extra day, but I spent 1 additional day with a stand in and 3 days by myself shooting B roll in that basement! We shot about 8 hours of footage for our 6 min short, lol

i just started this gig, the whole filmmaker thing - about a year ago.
18 and still naive, just starting to realize how much it all costs.
i just hope i get a rich wife :)

Thanks. Hope it actually turns out good. Almost done with roughcut. :beer:

Gotta go to 2nd U.S. recording session for title song now.

Then back at ten or 11 tonight and hopefully sleep as I didn'y get to do that last night.
Then back to editing Friday A.M.
 
oof ... working on it ... this session just hit the 24 hour mark.
had an 8 min cut as of 5 AM, 12 hours later got 6:11 .... well 6:10 as of this post. Woohoo!

Now I'm sitting here thinking things like ... if I can just cut 10 frames from 24 shots ...
or 24 ... or 2 frames from 120 shots ... etc.

... this way madness lies.

It won't be that different though - maybe 6:30 or 6:45, I'll just be able to linger on some moments longer for the correct pacing.

the score and VFX may change a bit for the DVD as Mark and Herman are both really under the gun and Herman's computer crashing (poor guy -- good thing he's a real musician and can bust a groove analog style).

Also for the DVD Mark Johnson and I will be cooking up some pretty cool BTS.

But you won't not be seeing anything in the contest cut, it'll just be a little more brisque of a ride.

I feel ya my man, I had a heck of a time getting APTH down to 6.... I feel the pain, but I know you'll do it, and it'll be worth it! :thumbsup:

Uh, happening to Jack now too.... same thing happened in my thread, some people are so lame, whatever, it doesn't matter... it's the film that counts!

up top, star ratings... IMO it's lame and should not be on the threads... some lame people being malicious can just come in and lower the rating.
