I've got fresh footage from a P2 card

Rodrigo, nice key, what are you using to key the image?

Whoa, HD awesomeness, you can see the five o clock shadow and every hair on that guys face.

I didn't even color correct my shot, just goes to show you how nice the color is on the HVX. Ultimatte, great stuff yup.

Awsome composite, Rodrigo. I'd swear the guy was there.

To the originator of the footage: Any chance of a similiar shot with some lights kicking from the back? Wanna see if it salvages hair detail.

Especially with a model with blondish hair.

I wish I could have had more time to put something like that together. I literally threw up a soft box and a really bad light for the green card that someone just happened to have in the back of their truck. This was all shot at the dealer where I bought my camera--so it was a quicky.

All that to say that if it looks this good with less than five minutes of prep--imagine how good it will look if some time goes into making a great key.

One thing that is nice to have around is a monitor with a scope. We did have that on the Panny monitor, so it was nice to see that we could quickly rough in the green screen to 50 IRE.

The green screen file is an MXF video file, about 10 seconds or so long.
Sorry, I should've been more specific. I meant Rodrigo's background (that's why I had quoted the "Ultimate Image" part of his post). :) It looks awesome, but obviously if it's a static image, it's going to look fake behind a moving person. Just curious if it's available as a video file, because it looks great.

I don't understand all the fusz about noise. In the still pictures in this thread I can not see any noise at all !!!!!! Is it only visible in the video and not in stills or should I let my eyes checked ????

Any chance of putting up a quicktime or a 264 file? Thanks and/or a chance to see MXF files without FCP5?
