I've got a problem

So I was shooting something the other day, we were on a deck, the camera was on a tripod, and the actor had to fall. When I was reviewing the footage later, I noticed that when he hit the deck, blue horizontal lines scatered everywhere. I watched multiple takes, and it happened every time, due to the impact shaking the camera ever so slightly.

I took out the DVX today, it does not do it when in 30fps. But in 24p and 24pa, when you even slightly touch, but especially if you jiggle the little lens shield it does it. I took that off, and tapped the front of the camera and I was still getting the lines. Any ideas? Do I need to contact Panny?

Re: I've got a problem

I spent 4 hours on hold for the Panasonic help line, and then I had to leave for work so I didn't get to talk to anyone. Before I try waste another couple hours tomorrow, I want to make sure that theres something wrong, and it's not just some setting I have wrong. Anyone?

Re: I've got a problem

I've shot action sequences involving a 150 pound mock film reel chasing down a staircase after the lead actor. Rumbling, banging, the whole nine yards. I've never had that problem, ever - sorry, but I have no idea what it could be...it's worth checking out with Panasonic I think :-/
