I honestly don't know how many of you this could help, but, I spent my saturday today shooting, testing, and creating a handful of custom luts that are specifically made to correct, enhance and/or change the Rec709 Film Rec Wide Latitude gamma curve in the Varicam cameras pre 35 and LT. If any of you are interested in them, I'd be more then happy to send the folder your way for free. PM me your email. Thanks.

I will get some examples up the latest this weekend. I do see you are a Varicam LT user, just to clarify these LUTs were made for the following Varicam Models
-AJ-HDC27F/H
-HPX27/3700

They were made with a FilmRec 500% Dynamic Level so those interested with a 2700 or 3700, i dont know how these will work in other dynamic levels as i know the 2700/3700 can go to 600%
 
Bump. I should have some examples in the coming days.. I am just knee deep in post work for a doc that needs to be in the can by wednesday.
 
My first example of the LUTs, as well as a dropbox folder full of all of the luts I have made this far with a "instructional" txt file will be made available in this thread later on tonight. In the mean time, check out the latest pic of my rig. :b
