well this past tuesday the hvx landed in my apartment.... I have just been having a ball with it. I have to say this is the first time using one and i couldnt be more happy. It was not to long ago that i finished up a 3 month shoot in japan. I was over there with two very good friends of mine using the JVC GY-HD110, and to be honest i'm having way more fun with this brick.

I would like to thank Barry for the outstanding job he has done on his book, It's just great.

happy to be here.

I agree that Barry's HVX book is great -- even better than the DVX book. Plus the actual physical form, with the spiral binding and quality paper, makes a huge difference in the field when you're flipping through it in a panic.

Shapeco, I now have 3 of Barry's books. I keep one in my briefcase to review whenever I'm stuck waiting at the airport, Doctors office, car wash etc. I always find something I didn't know or forgot about. :)

Enjoy that camera and use it even for your home movies. Over expose, under expose, under/over crank, push every part of the camera.
The more you use it the more you'll get out of it on paid gigs.
It's been good enough for us that I just bought our second one.
