It seems so easy....

But I for the life of me cannot figure it out. I was importing 186 clips from two 16GB P2 cards when FCP decided to crash on me. By then it had imported 175 of the clips.
I figured I would just go into FCP and just import what I had left off the cards.
The problem is that it looks like it wasn't importing the clips in order down the list.
Meaning it had already captured the last clip on the P2 card when it crashed. So there are 11 more clips on the P2 cards that never transfered, but I don't know which ones.
Is there a way of telling FCP not to import any clips that are already on the computer? Or do I have to open up the P2 import window along side the clips that are already on the computer and just count down the list seeing which ones didn't make the transfer?
Any help would be awesome.
Thanks guys and gals,
Justin

Justin... I've had a similar problem and the best solution is to go through like you said and double check. Also, one tip that I do just in case this happens is to set up the clips in chronological/timecode order so that they inport that way and not the name method.

The naming sequence should help though in sorting and finding out what you need to redo.. Sometimes too, if it's a recent project the clips that were imported will be shaded on the left side of the transfer window.
