Introducing the next generation of kid’s educational television.

“It Really Happened!” is a funny and engaging kid’s history show in which each episode focuses on a different historical topic, person or event.

Blending live action, animation, visual effects, as well as actual historical footage, classic and modern stories of history are accurately presented in a fast paced, off-the-wall, unpredictable style.

Twelve year old co-hosts LACEY ELLISON and JOSH MOORE lead the journey along with the comedic MR. JOE “helping” as only he can. Rounding out the cast is the often heard but never seen MR. ANNOUNCER GUY who’s booming ‘movie trailer’ voice is admired by all!

IRH is based on an extremely popular school assembly series. Since 1998 the “live” version of these historically themed “edutainment” shows have been performed tens of thousands of times at Elementary and Jr. High schools nationally.

IT REALLY HAPPENED! Just might be the most fun way to learn in… history.

HUGE NEWS! It Really Happened is in a rewrite stage. We're upgrading to HD for this one, with a proposed budget of 10-20K, we'll be in the casting phase soon, and hope to shoot by the end of the month!

UPDATE: Auditions scheduled for next week. We have about 80 kids coming in.

That's out of over 1200 submissions.

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.

I managed to miss another OFFICIAL THREAD?!

Not this time.

On the show: That's awesome! More of a learning show and less of a story show? And... 1200 submissions?!

On the HVX: Rewrites, green screen, HVX, child stars... Briceman's got it all now.

Glad you got to check it out!

The show itself mixes education with entertainment, trying to break the mold of normal boring kids educational shows.

Should be fun.

UPDATE: Just got our sound guy! Eric Burge. Had a great long conversation with him this morning. Solid guy! Looking forward to working with him.

Wow... auditions went GREAT today... we saw over 60 kids. We'll be watching through tapes tomorrow and scheduling call-backs.

UPDATE: We had callbacks yesterday and WOW! The kids made it TOUGH to cast... everyone did a terrific job!
