So I am trying to get my f35 footage into premiere but for some reason all that shows up is static. What is weird is i hear the recorded audio of the footage. Does anyone know what the issue is?

thanks

Hmm... haven't encountered any issues with that combo before. Are the files opening in any other software?

I just used an odyssey on the weekend with the latest update & am having the same problem, using CS6. Recorded 12bit444 prores 25fps Hope I don't have to edit in davinci...

Have you tried creating offline ProRes files out of Davinci? If you wanted to roundtrip that could work.

Have you transferred the footage through the CD Apple ProRes Transfer Tool? You should always use this program. You can use it to offload from your SSD to your computer and then it's an "invisible" step, but it you have already loaded the files onto your computer you can just dupe them through the program to fix them. The current version is v2.4 with v2.5 coming out next week. It's a free download from our website for Mac or Windows.

The issue described is a problem between CD & Adobe, and both companies are addressing it. The correction is in each company's next firmware release. Ours should be available on Monday for download and I imagine Adobe's will be sometime soon, but you only need one to fix the issue moving forward (can't hurt to update both).

Awesome it worked a treat thanks again. So once the new update is release I'll be able to skip this step and the footage should be viewable in premiere straight off the SSD?

I believe so, but you shouldn't skip this step. You should use our software to offload footage from your SSD onto your computer. This will merge the 4GB FAST32 file chunks into complete clips and perform other housekeeping duties. Details are available in the manual, but suffice to say that you have to get the files off anyway, so you might as well use this FREE program.
