Issues on white balancing with a white paper

Hallo guys,

as you now, as a rookye with the PAna, i'm trying to learn evry day new stuff....
Today happened to me a strange thing, i couldn't White balance the camera with a white paper in front of me. I had this call "awb ach ng"....I didn't know why, maybe cause the subject was in the shadow; any advice?

I believe your issue is that there wasn't enough light. After the error it should have said "Low Light".

Try again with proper a proper exposure to AWB.

Should i set an higher iso?

Or increase lighting. Just give enough exposure so that the camera can do its AWB thing.

You need thicker paper. Try a 28lb cardstock with a minimum 60% post consumer recycled, high rag content bond. The effect is dazzling!
