Issues after upgrading to Leopard

I am finally back up and running since upgrading to Leopard. A lot of my stuff ended up all over the place thanks to the guys at the apple store for not telling me to select Preserve User Settings when I upgraded. They just told me to do an archive and install.

Moving on, when i went to open Livetype I noticed none of my live fonts or effects or textures were there. Also in Soundtrack none of my loops are there. I have not checked Motion or DVDSP yet but everything in FCP is in tact.

My question is do I have to put the original FCP Studio Install disc to get what I need from the other install discs? Seems like I am going to need content for just about everything except for FCP. I tried searching my HD for the content and even in my Previous System's folder and came up with nothing.

thanks

I figured I would have gotten at least one response...I am just going to do a clean install of FCP studio and see if that helps.

Well if your content is not in your finder somewhere, then you need to install that content. If it is there somewhere, you need to put it in the correct folder for programs like livetype to see it.

The best practice is to clone your boot drive, and then do a wipe and clean install of OS and FCP updates.

No other way around it for a production machine.
