Hello all,
I am having a weird issue with my HVX200 and FCP. Yesterday, I shot an interview in 720p 30n and ended up with multiple takes. I ingested the footage into FCP 5.1.4 using the import Panasonic P2 option. I noticed after import that one of the clip was only partially imported. When I tried to play it on the FCP timeline, the video was accelerated and incomplete, the sound was playing at the right speed but incomplete as well. I tried to re-import but had no luck. I erased all the imported files from my Mac and tried the importation process once again; unfortunately I got the same result. Getting back to the camera, I played the clip. I was glad to see that it was complete and sounded just fine, just like the rest of the clips from that interview. I could not figure out why this clip was giving me trouble. I finally worked around the problem by plugging the camera into the computer and doing a log and capture. I am not quite sure of what's on the go here. Has anyone encountered this problem before?
Thanks for taking the time to answer.
