FS5: Issue FS5 7Q+, 4K RAW to 2k PRORES in 17 : 9 Mode

Hi guys,

Any ideas why the monitoring on the 7Q+ is moving to the top like this? link here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNm7f0OIUzY

This happens only on 4K RAW to 2K prores, in letterbox 17: 9 mode on the 7Q+). Impossible for me to monitor in these conditions... it does not do that chosing the center cut 16:9 mode instead of the 17:9...

Normally I will unplug the Sdi cable or reboot the 7Q. But seems u can't fix it by this.
I hate this kind of strange issue always happen on my fs700+7Q. It produce very high quality image also can 4k 100fps. But just not very reliable.
One more thing, change 25p to 50p in 4k to prores will crush the files. I saw some guys talk about this in this forum before. It can play normally in 7Q but crushed on the .mov file in computer. We have to turn the 7Q off, change frame rate, then turn it on again will be safe.
Someone say it fixed but not happen on me.
Sorry not help. I moved to fs72.
 
Thanks for your reply MRMO. I found the setting that created the issue (and so now, i think that this is not an issue) : in the odyssey sets (on the top left of the screen) / outputs / PSF OUT has to be "OFF". If "ON", i have the issue in 17:9 mode. BTW, i don't know what this "PSF out set" is... ;)
 
Dear Friends,

The PSF Out menu item is in the Outputs Menu on the Odyssey.

When activated, this instructs the Odyssey to output Progressive Segmented Frames instead of the normal Progressive Frames on the output.

Setting the PSF Out on does have some side effects under certain conditions.

Thus, leave it off unless you need to have PSF output.
