Just got the AF-100 few days ago, and with the Cameras from Red Rental in Tel Aviv, with the help of the Owner Ariel Glikson i did a Quick Iso Test comparing: AF-100, 7D PL, 5D, RED1.

Than i tried few Lenses on the AF-100, and here is the result:

In the lenses test i was on ISO 400. and setup was: Gamma HD norm, Matrix Norm2, Detail -4, Coring +3.

Thanks to Cameraman: Ronen Kruk for his help.

Hi Amos,

like the old 16mm ST in the second clip - my heart bleeds a bit seeing film going away more and more.

First clip did not work in "old europe" - youtube tells me that it has "content from UMG" that will not allow it to play here. Whatever that means.

We will shoot some tests on a future set along with an ALEXA today and am anxiously seeking advice on settings that will allow us to use the AG-AF 101 as an "extra cam" for several complicated shots where we can not or will not really want not use the ARRI.

Nice test.
In the first one the RED shows how far it is away from the others. The AF-100 looks good though considering its price, the Canons seem set to standard settings.

The lenstest: the 14-140 really is a lens for a finished look. It is so contrasty there is no more room for grading. The Nikon-50 and also the FD look nice though.

I uploaded the first test ISO also to VIMEO
The lens test on will be there later tonight.
and i will enable downloads

tipota, since i don't have any experience with Alexa, i think i can't help you.

alpi69. I will not use the 14-140 for indoors, and in the monitor we had i liked very much the Canon 50.
it was better than the Nikon.

I have a set of FD's. i try to do a test with all of them soon.

Amos
