CAPSLOCK THAT IS. IT'S ON RIGHT?

SO I NEED A DP/EDITOR/BOOM OP/FOCUS PULLER/PA/MAKEUP ARTIST/SOUND GUY/WHATEVER for 8/21 TO 8/22. THERE IS PAY INVOLVED, AND I'M TYPING IN CAPS TO MAKE SURE YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS AD. SORRY IF IT SOUNDS LIKE I'M YELLING/ANGRY/STUPID, I JUST TYPE THIS.

MY DICTION AND CAPSLOCK IS TOTALLY TRUST WORTHY.

I'm also confused. Now I don't know if that means I did a good job replicating a CL ad or not..
 
Perhaps you should tell us if that's a Craigslist ad or not. Frankly, people make snap judgements when it comes to whom they are willing to work with.

If you are trying to hire someone, I've made my snap judgement and it doesn't lean in your favor. If you are trying to be funny, it didn't work.

*I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just don't know your intentions, and I am giving you fair warning. If people don't understand what you are trying to do - they make a judgement call.
 
i call it bad communication skills.

i believe there have been studies or observations on how typing in all caps is actually less effective for getting a point across.

generally speaking, even if the reader were to ignore the 'yelling' that's insinuated by all caps, seeing words typed in caps requires more time and effort on the readers part. this is because people aren't used to reading words written in all caps.
