Use MediaINFO for any files you are unsure of.
Very useful app.
Just recently I was doing sound for a 5d shoot and the DP is arguing that the 24 in Canon is 24 fps.
I explained politely that I am a former 5d user and current 5d owner " I only use the 5d to change the aperture of my L glass" ,
and I have done many project syncing and editing. 24 in canon is 23.976. SO to prove my point I droped the file in the mediainfo and showed him
