Is this SDHC card too good to be trueÉ

I bought one in a listing just like this (idk if it was the same seller) and got very generic looking cards. One worked great. The other failed in the middle of a shoot and I couldn't recover any data off it it.

I wouldn't scrimp when it comes to reliable media. Just my 2 cents.

Agreed. Buy name-brand cards from reputable online (or brick-and-mortar) dealers. For me, this means SanDisk, Transcend or my personal favorite, Delkin Devices.

You already saved a lot of money by going with an HDSLR (particularly an SDHC model.) Don't skimp on cards. I'd advise Sandisk or Panasonic from a reputable online store, and I also feel like getting more cards in smaller capacities is better...but that's just my opinion.

Transcend cards seem to fail A LOT according to the amazon comments...
BTW how much is a 16GB SanDisk class6 in the US...? Flying to SF this week and only got one 16GB so far...
