Is this Nikon to Canon adapter ok?

I have a couple of Nikon / Tamron lenses that I'd like to try out with my 550D. I dont want to spend a ton of money on the adapter as the Nikon lenses I have are cheap and I'll be most likely upgrading them in the near future, however I dont want to get the cheapest adapter possible, that would break easily or damage the lens :) (something around $20-30 I guess)

Would this one look ok?

(there seems to be an endless choice for them on ebay, and not sure on how to differentiate between them...)

I have always had wonderful experience with Fotodiox and their adapters. I think their Nikon to Eos is a little more expensive though.

indeed, "fotodiox pro" is the usual recommendation:

the non-pro version is cheaper; it should be fine too, just not as absolutely free of wiggling as the pro version:

a bad adapter may feel too loose, or not allow for infinite focus

in any case: beware: none of those adapters will let you control autofocus from the camera; unless the lens has an iris ring, it will be stuck wide open; autofocus won't work either

hi,
i have used both the cheaper ones but i found the ones from a UK company, SRB are better in quality and make.
Abit more expensive but definitely worth the money. i ended up buying 4 of these for my nikon lenses.
