GH2 Is this behavior normal for my GH2 camera and 14-42 lens?

I accidently kicked my GH2 (with a 14-42 mm lens) the other day and when I checked if it was okay, I noticed some things that I'm not sure about. It's probably nothing wrong with it, but in that case it would be intresting to know what's behind these behaviours:

1. If the camera is on, and I zoom in and out with my kit lens, I can here subtle clicking noises coming from it. It doesn't matter if the focus is set to automatic or manual. I can't here these sounds when the camera is off. What's it doing?

2. When I try to get focus on something really far away (we're talking thousands of meters here), and I use the manual focus mode, if I bring the focus to the very left on the little mountain-flower-scale, everything get's out of focus. What I have to do to get the right focus is to bring it a little bit to the left, maybe 1/10th of the scale. This seems a little strange to me.

3. If I unmount the lens and shake it gently I hear a pretty distinct rattling sound comming from it.

#1- The lens is adjusting the aperture to try and maintain the F-stop. I personally hate this, and much prefer lenses that maintain one F-stop without electronic correction, because electronic correction is kind of crude and almost always noticeable.

#2- The lens is focused electronically, so there is no manual "infinity focus" point, so you have to learn how to find infinity focus when you are "focusing by wire". ( electronic focus )

#3- This is the optical image-stabilizer mechanism. Almost all lenses with OIS will exhibit this rattling noise when they are powered down.
