Hi,
My DVX100 was fine until very recently, when new recordings began to play back badly. In particular, blocky patterns appear on the left side of the LCD panel image (or FCE display) - not all over, just on the left edge. And, this happens Only when playing back just-recorded video. Old tapes play back just fine, and can be pulled in to FCE.
Is this a sign of dirty heads (one run-through with the dreaded panasonic head cleaning tape made no difference) or a sign of something more serious?
Also - if this is something the head cleaning tape won't fix - where to take the camera for repair? I heard on another board that my Mack warranty may not help - folks weren't getting through to them etc.
Thanks for any suggestions.
