I think I have decided to buy a used hvx and a 7d..Is this a good deal on an hvx kit for $2500? and what should i look for when buying this. Do the hours seem high?

HVX200
(2) - 4GB p2 cards (r-series)
(1) - 16GB p2 card (e-series)
(3) - extended life batteries
(1) - 6ft. Firewire cable
(1) - a/c adapter/battery charger
(1) - tape head cleaner
(1) - professional 1510 Pelican case

LETUS EXTREME
(1) - Letus Extreme 35mm Adapter
(1) - Nikon lens mount
(1) - Canon FD lens mount
(1) - 50mm f1.8 Nikon lens
(1) - 135mm f2.8 lens
(1) - 90mm MACRO f2.8 lens
 
i have to tell ya, i wouldnt touch an hvx200 with a 10 foot pole right now.

let me explain. as a former hvx200 owner. its a decent camera. i made lots of money with mine and you can with this one. but i sold mine and got an hpx170 about 18 months or so ago.
i liked the 170s image better from the day i got it. - not to mention all the added features.

but last weekend i borrowed a buddy's original hvx200 as a second camera to my 170 on a music video shoot.

WHAT A NOISY MESS!

i probably wouldnt feel that way if i wasnt using them side by side. but i was. and i do.

the hvx will do you fine. but if you can swing the extra money to move up to an hpx170 or even hvx200A you wont regret it
