is this a good and cheap combination?

hi,

i've been looking to put together an ultra compact and cheap "rig". and i've found really cheap solutions, but i hope someone here knows if the following is a good or bad combination:

D Focus V2: $160 w/ lens gears
+
DSLR mount V2: $50 (allows the attachment of the FF without rails)
+
Adorama's cheap shoulder support: $45 (i know it's very cheap, but has anyone tried it?)

total: $255

and, could i attach the FF to the Adorama bracket?

if this isn't a good idea, would you suggest the indiRAILSpro MP @ $370?

any other recommendations on the cheap?

I like the way you are thinking.... Wish the JAG35 folks had a bundled package...

yeah JAG35 have the cage bundle, but it's geared towards a tripod setup.

I would recommend the indiSNAP! gears, they're 'collapsible' by function. And I would think your right hand below the camera would make more sense since your left will be on the focus wheel.

yeah i've heard good things about the snapping gears. but... you'd have to one for every lens, right?
