Is there anyway to fix drop outs?

Hi I just had a problem with very important material that I shot. The red x warning apeared. All the material is pixalized and many dropouts. It shows also when I playback from another camera or vtr.
Is there any way to fix, to save this material? It's very important.

had a situation where a client had reused tapes and had a few dropouts - we were able to cut the frames with glitches out and duplicate a neighboring frame. Might be worth a shot, but if its all pixelated all you can do is re-shoot (after you get those heads cleaned)
