GH4 Is there any well lit GH4 footage?

Look for example at those two vids:

https://vimeo.com/103925932

If anyone could give me one example of that detail and "high end camera look" (I know I look stupid talking that way) in any GH4 footage please post it.

This all comes from this "blind eye" comparison: I chose every A7s footage in there. I dont know how to explain wich attributes make me prefer it, but it has been so. Please, make the test: http://youtu.be/qdMypfYrKgw?t=22m2s

Thanks, awesome forum

Alberto, you like what you like. Other people like what other people like. No need for anyone to convince you otherwise or you to convince others. I actually prefer the A7S image as well, but it doesn't do several things that I really need my hybrid camera to do and is significantly more expensive... so now I'm a GH4 owner. And it's working fine.

If you get an A7S, I'm sure it will work fine, also.

I see where the OP is coming from when looking at multiple youtube blogs and not understanding what video cameras can do outside of youtube.

For example, here are 2 video bloggers without video training and cheap setups, followed by a less impressive look from a video professional with expensive gear who actually knows what he is doing:

Ex 1.
Blogger: Girl doing video/youtube as a hobby
Gear: Canon T4i and sigma 30mm lens. Total under $1000

Ex 2.
Blogger: Kid doing it as a hobby
Gear: $400 camera and a cheap fluorescent light kit. total probably $600-700.

Ex 3.
Blogger: Well known Griffon. Professional videographer for over 10 years of experience and very creative and knows his stuff
Gear: GH4, 12-35mm lens or sigma 30mm 1.4, fluorescent lights, NTG-2 with tascam dr-40. total price probably over $3700

Out of the 3, id say the professional with the more expensive stuff doesnt stand out as much as the kid video bloggers with cheap gear. Mainly because the low light and depth of field makes the cheap cameras look more expensive and the sharpness of the gh4 doesnt really become as noticeable on youtube.

The problem with these sort of tests is that the person making the tests is either consciously or unconsciously effecting the look of the final image.

I know that given a RAW still image or high bit-rate and well lit video footage, I can make either camera look just like the other camera.

Yes there will be some differences between these cameras in terms of dynamic range and shadow/highlight detail retention, but the differences are not as big as you might think they are...

This reminds me of all the old Canon 5D Mk.. camera tests where people were saying how much better the color was from the Canon cameras, but they weren't doing anything in post to achieve the final look of the videos they shot. ( which is a huge mistake )

...I know from experience that more happens in post than with the camera when it comes to creating the final look of your image.

I can read just fine.

You asked for well lit footage and have crapped on every single sample posted...

Actually, I only commented this woman on the couch thing negatively.

And it's more of a is it worth 3.5k$ for a moderate difference question. That said, the colors of Albertos vidoes (Thanks you, Alberto) look indeed better to me and that's still a plus on any Canon.

I'm not here to try and change your mind I am truly interested in what you are looking for aesthetic wise as its now peaked my curiosity. The only think I can see is softness which I prefer to add through filtration not line skipping.

I'm not sure if the filter helps, when the camera tries to oversteer it with its post-sharpening algorithms. I somehow doubt they only apply to pannie lenses.
