Is there any progress on unhackable GH1

I bought a GH1 in London last July and sadly, it is of the unhackable kind. I had kind of given up hope until I saw somewhere that some of the hack authors were asking for donation to get one of them and make them hackable.

Has there been any progress? Should we keep hoping that we will be able to open up our cameras to their full power some day?

My GH1 is now a GH17... february 2011 new model and it was unhackable.... And now, is hacked... Running up to 70mbps bitrate... works excellent!
