I currently use Adobe encore to author my DVDs. I need a program that allows me to quickly encode and author DVDs virtually in realtime without going through the full authoring process immediately after I shoot an event so I can offer dvds to the client right after the event. Is there something out there that does this?

Thanks !

I'll just spackle off the little I do know

Mac or PC?

Just build premade templates in an authoring application (I know, this will vary depending on the app) and dump your movie into those.

Do firestore drives alow one to encode in mpeg2 in realtime? If so you could just dump those into a premade DVD project and the only wait time is the building/formatting and burning. (no long encoding)

There is no realtime solution other than a DVD recorder I don't think. They probably make those with firewire inputs.
