GH2 Is there a hack database?

Yeah, that is the thread. Page one. He describes most of the different hacks. Canis Majoris for low light. Sedna A (HQ) maybe for landscapes. I'm no pro on the subject. But that is the resource I have been utilizing. Testing things out for myself.
Thanks. I have been taking a look at the thread. Thing is driftwood has so many settings. You find Sedna A (HQ) to be stable? I have heard bad stability stories. I think it's also driftwood's sharpest setting right?
I will also be shooting indoors soon with lots of shots in front of windows too. So I need to choose a good hack for that as well. Otherwise I will just have to use flowmotion.

I personally just use the Cluster v7 'Apocalypse Now - DREWnet' 12/15 GOP Soft for everything. Images are the best I've seen from this camera.

That's one of his latest settings right? Is it stable?

I wish I could tell the difference between Cluster, Sedna, Orion, Quantum and all them. The settings and technical descriptions don't tell me anything really. I'm not much of a techie.

I'm sorry, I still don't get it. If you are happy with the current hack why would you have to follow it? Stick with the one you're using. If you are not happy then you should be glad he has updates. Or the fact he releases an update makes you feel like the current one is no longer good enough?

I happy with the current hack, but who knows what else they can squeeze out of this camera.

Best in what? Quality, sharpness, quality to size ratio, compromise, all around setting?

I would think most people go for the cleanest image. I want the least amount of digital noise. I call that a clean image. Clarity. Not necessarily the sharpest. Just smooth and clean. Best way I can describe it. I've been through many of those hacks and Apocalypse Now Drewnet Soft Matrix with camera on smooth is probably my favorite to accomplish what I want. Keep in mind I just test these in low light in my apartment to determine that. It all really does depend on what someone wants to use it for though. I am just going to be shooting short narratives. So file size is no issue for me.

Ditto. That's currently on my GH2. Sedna is another one I use constantly, and it's rock-solid though I just found out 60i freezes the camera (and that was only because I was trying to see what 60i slo-mo looked like).

I won't use Flowmotion because of the "rain" artifact that occurs in Premiere (though at no fault of Flowmotion itself as the unhacked AVCHD also does this as well). However, if you want to use Flowmotion in a Premiere environment, you can, you just have to transcode first. That eliminates the problems.
