Is there a camcorder equivalent of a DSLR?

I was wondering is there a camcorder equivalent of a DSLR? Or is a DSLR in a class by itself?

If you are counting the f3, you might as well mention the Red One.....

what exactly do you mean by "equivalent"?

No. Yes.

No, the F3 is built from thegound up for Video. its not a repurposed DSLR sensor like the AF. F3 is only 3.5 megapixels. The AF100 is still a 12.3 Megapixel chip.
