In my last 2 jobs, using a professional sony monitor, the image in HVX LCD monitor has more blue, the images are colder compared to the sony monitor (color bars adjusted in sony of course)
Anyone else saw that ? Or it is only my camera ?
I refer you to my post below: LCD/viewfinder colours way off....
Under tungsten lighting, preset 3,200k whitebalance, a purple/mauve object showed as a perfect medium blue in the viewfinder and on the LCD screen.....
I do notice that no matter how much time I spend trying to "calibrate" my HVX's LCD, it still shows footage lighter than it is. I always end up with much darker shots that the LCD shows. It's just doesn't have the quality of Sony's LCDs. The HVX is not optically aligned. And it's Firewire port is a joke. Sorry, but there you have it. Love my HVX, but Panasonic really dropped the ball on several isses with this thing.
DVX100 LCD is good. I would preffer no underscan and better LCD quality, but if possible I would pay more US$ 100.00 in camera price to get a decent LCD.
