Is the HYDRA Project Dead ?

Just wondering if anybody has feedback on whats happening with HYDRA. I am asking this as I've tried contacting Reel Stream with some queries but have had no reply.
I've also been checking the forum boards and their has been no update on Hydra since October 30th. Hydra seems like a good idea; and I believe their is a market for it among HVX users who need a sharper image and better low light capabilities. I just hope it doesnt go the way of the Cineporter.
At the moment if I am honest; the potential from Hydra is what is keeping me from selling my HVX. But in an ever changing market with new cameras emerging all the time the window of opportunity is closing. I understand the team at Reel Stream are very busy but it pays to keep people informed, just look at how the Red team operates. Juan if your out there a quick update would help a lot.
Regards.

i second that opinion, a lot of HVX users are holding on to the cam for the HYDRA.
Juan, we dont ask you release any top secret info you dont wanna share, but give us something, a hint, a clip, new specs etc. please

I am also in the market for a Hydra.

If it can do what it claims, it will be the perfect way to keep all of my equipment competitive with higher end cameras.

I love the HVX200. It can do some amazing things (slow motion, 24p, timelapse, etc...). I also have a Brevis system for it and combined, the look is great. My problem is that the camera does do a lot of artficial sharpening to the image which creates some noise that shows up on some monitors. Add the Brevis to the mix and the image gets a little softer.

If the Hydra would allow me to crank down the detail level, use my brevis, and still get a sharp HD picture in 1080 24p mode, I would be super happy. I would hope that this would also make the Hydra better for film out, too (if I ever needed do to that). Make no mistake, the HVX200 is a great camera for the money, I am just looking for the Hydra to take it up a few notches.
