Hey guys + gals - I was reading the machinist's post in the "questions" thread below that said that the HVX is not actually 24p, but 23.98 p. I know the new Canon is not, and I'm not sure about the JVC1000.
I know I also read that Barry said the sensor chips were imprinted as true 24p, not interlaced (like the new Canon).
SO, a couple of three questions:
1. Is the HVX exactly 24p?
2. If not, what are the ramifications for a 35mm film out? 3. Is every frame 'pure' but the last one?
Thanks for any information on this, John
