Is the following set up possible?

Now, I know I'll need some serious rail set ups, and the camera will become quite bulky, but I'm curious if the following can be done.

DVX100B > 35mm adapter > XXmm SLR lens > 72mm step up ring > Anamorphic lens

It's really far-fetched but in theory it seems possible.

so you CAN put a wide screen adapter on a 35mm.....

I think it will work, not a lot of glass.

You might need rails depending on the 35mm you get. An sgpro? Yes, you will need rails. Letus? Don't think you would need rails.
