is it compatible with vista home premium.....it wont get detected through the firewire and i want to know before i buy a firewire expresscard to use with premiere pro cs3

I have heard before that it doesn't work with vista. I think you may need a driver. Also, does you computer have a webcam? Because on my mac, it detected the built in isight webcam and I had to get a disabling script to make it go to the next available device. I am not sure what you need to detect it but you could also try a capture cam or deck instead of using the DVX.

i have vista home premium 32 bit on my hp laptop and i used to capture with my dvx100b b4 i got my capture cam. i also use PPcs3. no problems for me.
