Is the af100 softer at iso 200?

I read some where ages ago that the af100 was a bit softer at iso 200 compared to iso 400. Does any one have any info on this or observed experience?
I was chatting with a mate and the topic came up so was a bit curious. What iso dose every one use as a starting point? and what is the native iso of the sensor? I recall it being 400 but no too sure now :)

Anyway regarding the comment on softness at iso 200 i figure ill set up a little test tomorrow to find out myself, but still interested in every ones perspective.

im not sure but i know iso 400 is the native iso which would be the sweet spot for DR. resolution wise, i think its the same

I start at 400, but I haven't noticed any softening of the image below that. I do like the quality of shadows at 200 though as clean and dark. This is 200 ISO on the AF-100

If it is, I've never noticed. Perhaps it was a bug in one of the pre-release models or something? Not a problem now at any rate. :)

The only influence I would think ISO has on sharpness would be at high ISO numbers. Noise would start to contaminate the image giving you the impression of softer details.

I reset my default starting ISO to 200. I haven't had any issues with it that I know of. Focus has more to do with your softness than any ISO quirk.
