Is the 100B the same as 100A ?

I want to clean the recording heads on my 100B but they look nothing like the pictures I in this post. Hope someone has cleaned there 100B and can help.

I'm sorry for replying but not giving an actual answer, but I'll say that one of the changes between the A and B is the tape transport. Apparently, they did a major overhaul, but as far as I know, it was mostly a durability issue, the heads should be the same or about the same... I've only seen my B, and I haven't needed to clean it yet, so I guess I'm no help :-P

Anyone else have futher insight?
 
I hear that on the 100b they made the tape deck way more durable, but I'm sorry that I have no idea how to help you out.
