Is my system enough for AVCHD of Panasonic 150/151?

I've a iMac 3.06 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB RAM, 500 GB Hard disk
Final Cut 6.0.5

Do you think that I can work with AVCHD system of Panasonic 150 (I'm Italy and I use 151E)?
Or I should buy another computer?

Should be fine, just get more RAM ( so u have like 4+ GB) and i suggest using a external Firewire 800 drive and store all your capture, render, etc. files on there. I edited DVCPRO HD on a macbook pro 2.66 GHz, 4GB RAM, and like a 250 GB hard drive. It wasnt bad...

you will be transcoding to prores anyway so you should have no issues. FCP does not handle native avchd files.
