is my DVX200 on it's way to service center? :(

I think similar topic already exists here on forum, but my issue is slightly different.

I keep getting "Error Recording Stopped" after I've recorded approx. 10-15 min of data (2160p 50p) in Simultaneous mode, sometimes even less. Which results in partial video data loss on one of the cards.. :embarasse

Also, my DVX200 keeps disliking these 3 cards below, saying INCOMPATIBLE SD CARD or something like that, however it records 4k media on it just fine, no matter 24p, 30p, 50p, 60p, etc.

Lexar Professional 128 GB SDXC U3 i10 95 MB/s 633x

Kingston 128 GB DSXC class10 90 MB/s read/45 MB/s write (x2)

Also, while I've tried to check in Thumbnail menu which videos have I recorder, my camera just froze. Even the ON/OFF button could not help it. So I had to remove the battery.. That just feels wrong..

P.S. should I try to update the camera's firmware + format all the cards with Panasonic's specific card formatting tool first, or sending the device to a service center asap is better?

I'm not sure what's happening to your camera, but you should definitely try updating your camera's firmware and formatting the cards within the camera to see if that helps before sending it off.

[Keep in mind that sometimes upgrading firmware solves certain issues but introduces others/different ones. I don't know the camera well and haven't kept up with its history, but maybe make sure you can downgrade firmware if you need to before upgrading it.]

Thanks everyone, I will try to format all 3 cards tomorrow with my Win 7 desktop PC, as my Win 10 laptop won't run Panasonic SD format tool for some reason.. even compatibility mode won't help. Weird :/
If it won't fix it, hopefully firmware update might change something for the better.
Otherwise my last resort is Panasonic Service Center..

Try a Sandisk extreme pro. I've had trouble with perfectly good Kingston cards. The DVX seems picky. Don't know why. Do a full format in-camera. Mine doesn't like Sony, Kingston, or Samsung cards. I've since defaulted to only using the Sandisks and have had no problems.

I use the SanDisk Extreme Pro also with no issues. I have Lexar cards that work perfectly in my GH5, but not in the DVX.

The issue of cards has been posted before and the consensus is to use high quality cards. The only cards I have used and tested are the SanDisk Extreme Pro cards. They were recommended by B&H where I also bought the camera. It appears that most shooter who have not experienced problems have been using those cards. The cards might cost a little more. But as stated, I also have never had any problems with my camera and cards. Even in the days of VHS and mini DVD tapes, I always bought the best. Small investment, peace of mind, and better performance. Cards are not a place to skimp

update.

well, i have updated the firmware, tried to format all 3 cards, now DVX accepts 1 of them with no complaints, 2 other ones are still half rejected (cam does record to it, but errors keep coming).

I guess it is inevitable to invest into SanDisk Extreme Pro card.

Gotta ask....did you format the cards in the camera or with the Panasonic utility that runs on a computer? I ask, because the computer utility can do a *full* format that is much more exhaustive and might even tell you the cards are bad.

Both, first on my PC, then after an error popped up during the recording, so I've decided to format again.
Then I thought why not give a try to Sandisk cards, as I've heard some good feedback, and I finally ordered SanDisk Extreme 128 GB U3 card, so hopefully it resolves the issue :)
