Is my camera broken?

I was shooting yesterday, and I noticed some strange behavior in my DVX100A ... recently I had dropped it about 1.5 feet onto a carpeted floor while my anamorphic adaptor was on it..

Anyway.. I was shooting in 24pa, with the panasonic anamorphic adaptor with squeeze mode on, and whenever their was a lot of red in a shot it looks a bit artifcated. All the other shots came out ok, however. I was thinking this might be just an inherent issue. Here are some caps:

Any help here people?

dropping it really shouldnt mess with the red only. Red is the most unperfected color in the spectrum for display and capture. and especially in the room you appear to be in, the reds are overwhealming. i'd say you just have a bad lighting situation

and in your second and fourth pictures, you seem to be well balanced over on the right hand side. so i think it looks okay. I'm guessing that you are in a room with a red spotlight?

Your camera is perfectly fine, I dropped my dvx once on the concrete in the middle of the street cuz the tripod legs fell all the way open. the focused was ****ed up at first, but then i turned it off and on, perfectly fine. first of all, LIKE THE GUYS BEFORE ME SAID ABOUT RED, IS TOTALLY TRUE, RED BLEEDS more then n e other color. Chill bRA!

Yeah I figured as much. So theres not much I can do to salvage the footage?

And yeah theres some red lights here and there... all hard light.

The footage is very salvagable. Just use a chroma blur filter in your NLE. It will take longer to render but it will clean up those nasty edges.
