I personally would like to give the gh2 more space without competing with it´s older sibling . From initial reports it will deserve the attention, imho.
 
It would be senseless to create a seperate GH-2 forum since 90% of both GH-1 and GH-2 are related.
 
I say change the name to GH1/GH2, then have a GH1 subforum and GH2 subforum. This way some of the discussion about the GH2 can be split up more instead of the monster "GH2 official discussion" thread.
 
I think that the forum should be rearranged in some way otherwise the forum will become useless in few months.
Probably you already notice that the search function doesn't allows searches of three char words. Wonderful! GH1, GF1... GH2

I have a GF1 and right now for me it's nearly impossible finding out informations strictly related to this model because most of the threads are mixed,the search doesn't help and some threads are 50+ pages long. The best thing is searching through Google.

It's a shame having so many useful informations and struggling hard to filter them out.

So, I don't know if we need a truly separate forum but I hope a better organization.
 
+1 on the 3 character word search. Gets annoying and difficult when you can't search for something short like that and models are that short. Must really suck to search for something specific about the 7D.

True. It should be renamed "Panasonic Lumix" and then have its own subforums for each model or at least one each for GH1, GH2, and one for the rest.
 
I'd like a separate GH2 "footy" subforum at the top of the page, but otherwise I think it's OK for all the "G" series cameras to be mixed together "below".
 
I do believe that it should be all in one place but what I've been noticing is that recently on the threads theirs been much less of Canon verses Panasonic like we used to get before the GH1 got the hacked and now it shifted to GH13 verses GH2.
 
Yes, a general heading of Lumix G-Series Cameras with Sub-Forums for each Cam sounds good to me too:

G1
G2
GH1
GH2
etc
