is it possible to work in the film/video industry without high school or GED?

Stay in school just for the girls. That kept me in school and the girls didn't look nearly as good back then as they do now.:Drogar-BigGrin(DBG)

well, you probably shouldn't be looking at school girls any more...

BTW, filmmaking can be pretty math intensive. I know I perked up once I
took physics of light and color in college and all of a sudden, all that stuff
I said in about 'not needing' higher math in HS actually started to apply :)

Good DPs tend to be a well read, decently educated and frankly, mathematically
literate group of artists in my opinion. Everything you're gonna do is a logic
problem that will be solved by knowing 'math'. From optics conversions to inverse
square falloffs down to square footage of duyvateen needed.. you're actually gonna use more math than a lot of other fields. Time to buckle down and start that
cinematography career.. in your math classroom :)
