I have (had, long story) a DVX100A and love it, best image out there. I've shot with the 100B recently and it looks different. I know there are new technical improvements that make it different, (16x9 chip?) but I'm talking about a difference in the image/color that I don't find as filmic/appealing as the 100A.

Has anyone else noticed what I can only describe as the "softer" image to the 100B?

Thoughts?
 
I don't believe the DVX100B has 16:9 chips. I'm not so sure about the other technical specs, however.
